 History

549 Woods Cottage, Gothic Revival, ca 1850

            Probably built by James Soverhill, who lived in the house to the south, this delightful Gothic cottage, very similar to 583, has the distinctive lacy bargeboard, steep roofs, and a finial at the point of the gable.

 549 South Main Street In the 1960's and 1970's was the home of Thomas H. Truslow
