This was originally built as the Protestant
Reformed Dutch Church. The Roman Catholic Church owned this building from 1890
to 1917. It was the Geneva Masonic Temple until the late 1980s. The popular
Greek temple style, marked by the large fluted columns supporting a triangular
pediment, appealed even to the religious institutions in the young democracy.
